The AnnieRuth Foundation is a nonprofit organization, established in 2012. Our mission is to serve as a catalyst of positive change in underserved communities; providing resources, workshops, and programs focused on education, health initiatives and economic development.
Programs
We offer several programs to the general public; one in particular is our summer internship program. This a one year, points-based program provides a platform for high school students to develop personal, academic, and workforce readiness skills.
Students are engaged for an entire year and at the end of the program’s year, the students are placed in a safe, professional environment that directly aligns with their career aspiration. This affords them the opportunity to get hands on experience, a mentor and a paycheck. After completion of the internship experience, students are positioned to make a more informed decision regarding their desired career path.
