Mr. Jamal Richards

​Jamal Richards, a native of Chicago, Illinois, is a fourth-year student at Eastern Michigan University majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and he plans to graduate in April 2026. Jamal's main interests are sports and cars, and he has been a fan of sports for as long as he can remember.
Jamal is a determined and diligent individual who prefers to get things done in the best way possible, and he leads and follows as needed. His capacity to listen is essential for being a successful leader, and he demonstrates this skill. Jamal can also provide communication and interpersonal skills.
Working as a Residential Advisor allowed him to grow in those areas. Last but not least, Jamal is good at problem solving and putting things together. His main ambition is to be able to care for his mother and family. He wants to make their lives as smooth and stress-free as possible. Another goal of his is to gain as much engineering experience as possible so that he can begin his job in the profession right after graduation. The first step toward achieving that objective was to secure his first paid internship, and he is currently working to make that dream a reality. Jamal wants to be the most well-rounded person he can be, challenging himself to be better than he was yesterday.
