Miss Lauren Brooks
Lauren Brooks is a highly motivated student who is passionate about technology and the way it changes the world. She is a student who aspires to be a future engineer. Lauren attended Frank h Peterson Academies of Technology where she studies communications. During her time in high school, she participated in clubs and programs such as the National Honor Society, YMCA youth and government, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, and the Annie Ruth Foundation. Lauren has volunteered for her local community where she has earned hundreds of hours. Additionally, she took courses at her local community college and AP calculus which allowed her to get a head start on her college work. She is currently a sophomore at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she majors in computer information technology. During her time in college, she takes part in programs such as the year up, Florida Georgia Louis strokes Alliance for minority, The National engineering League, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. As a result of these programs, she can gain knowledge in her field of technology, develop professionally, and learn core values.
