Congratulations to Mr. Aidan Charrod Walker for being selected as a NEL High School Intern. Aidan is currently a senior at Cherokee High School in Canton, GA (Cherokee County). Aidan enjoys playing basketball and football. He was inspired at a young age by his uncle to pursue a higher level of education and become an engineer. Aidan focuses most of his attention in school on the key STEM classes such as Algebra, Chemistry, Geometry, and Computer Technology.  When Aidan is not working out or playing a sport, he spends a significant amount of his time reading books and researching social problems on the internet. He is a member of the Spanish Honors Society Club and Technology Student Association Club at Cherokee HS. Aidan’s future career goals include attending and graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology (GA Tech) and working for Lockheed Martin as an Electrical Engineer. He hopes to be able to enrich the lives of people around the globe through the positive application of technology.  Ultimately, he desires to inspire the youth to educate themselves and prepare for a successful career in whatever passion they have.
