Mr. Alexis Plasencia Leos

Congrats to Alexis Plasencia Leos who was recently selected as a 2019 National Engineering League Summer Intern. Alexis's hard work and exceptional GPA has awarded him acceptance into North Carolina A&T Electrical Engineering program where he will begin studies during the Fall 2019 Semester. This summer, Alexis will be serving as a NEL Electrical Engineering Research Analyst as he will be responsible for researching and analyzing the various ways electrical power is created, maximized, and distributed across the United States and Canada.

Mr. Tyler Toms

Congrats to Tyler Toms who was selected as a 2019 National Engineering League Summer Intern. Tyler will be a freshman engineering student this fall majoring in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering at North Carolina A&T State University. Tyler is utilizing the NEL summer internship to enhance his understanding of aerospace engineering quality regulations by analyzing the AS9100 industry standard used by the aerospace industry to satisfy DOD, NASA, and FAA quality requirements. Congrats to Tyler as he expands on his already vast aerospace knowledge as a dual Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Research Analyst this summer with The National Engineering League.

​Mr. Christian Palmer

Wake Technical Community College

Congrats to Christian Palmer who was selected as a 2019 National Engineering League Summer Intern. Christian will be attending Wake Tech Community College in the Fall of 2019 and focused on learning the fundamental skill set required to successfully use graphic design tools in prototype designs within multiple industries. Christian will also be contributing to creative character design concepts and franchise logo development this summer as a NEL Graphic Design Intern. Congrats to Christian as he continues his growth and development as a graphic design intern this year with The National Engineering League.

Mr. Dominique Jones

Congrats to Dominique Jones who was selected as a 2019 National Engineering League Summer Intern. Dominique is currently a junior at UNC Pembroke majoring in Graphic Art and Design. Dominique is focused on utilizing his gift of creative design by mastering the fundamentals of the graphic design software that he is studying and utilizing while in college. Jones recently graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College with an Associates of Arts Degree and will also be contributing to creative character design concepts and franchise logo development this summer as a NEL Graphic Design Intern. Congrats to Dominique as he continues his growth and development as a graphic design intern this year with The National Engineering League.

Mr. Ivan Rosales Flores

Congrats to Ivan Rosales Flores who was recently selected as a 2019 National Engineering League Summer Intern.  Ivan's hard work and exceptional GPA has awarded him acceptance into North Carolina State's Civil Engineering Program where he will begin studies during the Fall 2019 Semester.  This summer, Ivan will be serving as a NEL Civil Engineering Research Analyst as he will be responsible for researching and analyzing structural designs and static systems present in modern day NASCAR road systems and competitive tracks.
