Evan Danzy is a 15-year-old aspiring engineer with a strong passion for science, technology, and hands-on problem-solving. Originally from the Charleston, South Carolina area in Berkeley County, he grew up in a large, close-knit family with his parents, four brothers, and one sister. His father, a journeyman electrician, played a significant role in inspiring Evan’s early interest in the electrical field. After his father’s passing in May 2018, Evan and his family relocated first to Savannah, Georgia, and later to Hinesville, Georgia. He is now a dedicated 9th-grade student at Bradwell Institute.
Evan’s love for STEM deepened through his participation in STARBASE Savannah, a STEM program at Hunter Army Airfield, where he explored coding, technology, and hands-on engineering activities. Known for his tall stature, calm demeanor, and caring personality, he enjoys taking things apart, rebuilding them, and experimenting to understand how everyday tools and technologies work.
His interests include video games, biology, health and science facts, Marvel and DC media, music, and sports cars. He is also a proud foodie who loves traveling and trying new restaurants with his family.
Evan hopes to pursue a future career that blends his passion for science, creativity, and hands-on exploration. Whether in engineering, electrical technology, or another STEM field, he is eager to continue learning, building, and discovering new ways to make a positive impact on the world around him.
